### Palm Coast officials have issued an **“extreme water shortage order”**, tightening restrictions on irrigation and outdoor water use as drought conditions continue to intensify across the region.

### The order marks one of the city’s strongest conservation measures in years. Residents are now limited to **strict watering schedules**, and certain non‑essential uses — including pressure washing and decorative fountain operation — may be temporarily suspended.

### City leaders warn that enforcement will increase as water levels fall, urging residents to conserve wherever possible. Officials say the goal is to stabilize supply before summer demand peaks.
