Palm Coast Local Sixth Business Insider Edition Features Shara Brodsky. A graduate from FPC shares her journey of work, life and love in Palm Coast, Florida

For Shara Brodsky, organizing isn’t just about tidying up—it’s about creating a sense of peace and purpose in every space she touches. With over 15 years in retail sales, she has mastered the art of presentation, learning how to transform clutter into beauty and chaos into efficiency. Now, she applies that same skill to homes and offices, helping people regain control of their spaces with thoughtful organization and care.

Shara’s journey began in Staten Island, NY. After her parents’ divorce, she moved to Palm Coast with her mother, leaving behind everything she knew—the people, the places, and the familiarity—she ventured south, unsure of what the future would hold. Shara enrolled at Flagler Palm Coast High School, where she graduated in 1998. Today, Palm Coast isn’t just where she lives—it’s where she belongs.

“The Florida lifestyle quickly grew on me, and I still love it. Every day is a ‘Florida Lifestyle’ day for me,” she says with her signature warm smile.

Since 2010, Shara has helped raise an impressive $275,000 and counting through fundraising initiatives for local community projects and non-profits. Her dedication to service is evident in her work supporting causes such as the Advent Health Palm Coast Foundation Breast Cancer Fund, organizing Bingo Night Fundraisers, and Fashionista Fashion Shows.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Shara is deeply involved in community organizations. She will be the new upcoming president for the Palm Coast Lions Club after a year and a half of being a member. Additionally, she serves as a second-year board member of the Garden Club at Palm Coast, demonstrating her passion for community beautification and environmental sustainability.

In January 2024, Shara declared her candidacy for the Palm Coast City Council to represent District 1. With the campaign slogan "Unity in the Community," she reaffirmed her dedication to service and solutions, striving to foster collaboration and positive change within the city. Not winning the Palm Coast City Council seat was not a setback for Shara—just the opposite. "Campaigning throughout Palm Coast introduced me to locals I would have never met otherwise. I've made new friends and forged new alliances," Shara shares with Palm Coast Local.

Shara’s passion for giving back to the community has always been at the heart of her work. Whether she’s using her retail expertise to host charity fashion shows or dedicating time to organizations like The Lion’s Club and The Garden Club of Palm Coast, her mission has always been to make a difference. Her generosity and commitment to service have earned her a reputation as someone who truly cares—not just about organizing spaces, but about the people who fill them.

Shara has found a deep calling in helping families during some of life’s most challenging transitions. Estate transitioning, in particular, has become a role she takes on with immense compassion. When a loved one passes, families are often overwhelmed with the daunting task of sorting through belongings, preparing for probate, or handling the sale of a home. This is where Shara steps in—not just as an organizer, but as a steady hand during a time of grief. Assisted living and independent living facilities trust her to handle these transitions with the utmost care, knowing that the families she helps are in good hands.

Shara's clients are telling others about how she not only declutters their closets but also puts outfits together for social outings, professional workdays, and even seasonal options, making wardrobe selection as easy as 'Grab & Go.' The whole procedure is about strategizing your life.

"Time is the most precious gift we have, and spending it in a closet trying to figure out what to wear can be stressful and time-consuming," states Shara. "I eliminate that whole step, giving back valuable hours of time to my clients." With her keen eye for functionality, she doesn’t just organize—she eliminates the unnecessary, ensuring that every item has a place and a purpose. “Each space is personal, no matter if it’s a business or a home, and I respect that,” Shara explains.

But Shara’s story isn’t just about decluttering closets, kids' playrooms, or office spaces—it’s also about giving back. She believes that every item she helps remove could have a second life with someone in need. That’s why her business includes a special give-back program, ensuring that items that can be resold or reused, then redirected to new owners rather than wasted. A percentage of the proceeds from these sales goes directly to local nonprofits, reinforcing her commitment to the community and those who need it most.

Beyond her work, Shara has built a beautiful life in Palm Coast, Florida with her husband, Jose, whom she has been married to for over 20 years. Together, they purchased a home in our welcoming city, embracing the sense of community and small-town charm. When she’s not busy with her business or volunteering, there’s nowhere she’d rather be than in the cozy comfort of her own home, enjoying quiet moments with Jose.

With her Professional Organizer Certification—a six-month course—Shara gained the expertise to transform spaces efficiently. She also holds an Associate’s degree in Interior Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management both from Daytona State College, graduating with honors. She also became a lifetime member of IAPO (International Association of Professional Organizers), further solidifying her dedication to the profession. With years of experience in designing visually compelling spaces, Shara has combined her talents to offer more than just organization. She creates balance, restores order, and brings a sense of calm where it’s needed most.

Whether she’s helping a grieving family, streamlining a cluttered office, or assisting a business in reclaiming its space, Shara’s work is always driven by the same core values: experience, skill, and above all, compassion.
