Flagler Fall Outreach Brings Local Services Together at Cattleman’s Hall November 14

Bunnell, FL — A wave of community support is on the way. On Thursday, November 14, from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m., the Flagler County Health and Human Services Department will host its annual Flagler Fall Outreach event at Cattleman’s Hall, Flagler County Fairgrounds (150 Sawgrass Road, Bunnell) — bringing together a full complement of local organizations, nonprofits, and service providers, all dedicated to helping Flagler residents thrive.

This free event offers a one-stop opportunity to connect with more than two dozen agencies that provide assistance with food, healthcare, housing, senior programs, employment, and more. Attendees will even enjoy on-site perks such as free food and free haircuts provided by local partners.

“There are times when people slip through the cracks for no other reason than they’re unsure where to go for help,” said Joseph Hegedus, Director of Health and Human Services. “This is the place to be. Human Services Program Manager Kim Bennett always does a phenomenal job pulling all these resources together.”

What You’ll Find

The outreach brings together many of Flagler’s most trusted community resources, including:

  • Grace Community Food Pantry – Free food distribution

  • Flagler Technical College – Free haircuts and education info

  • Family Life Center, Flagler Cares, Flagler OARS, and EPIC Behavioral Health – Support and recovery programs

  • Palm Coast Lions Club, SMA Healthcare Access Center and SMA Primary Care - On-site health and wellness resources

  • Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) – Guidance for benefits and coverage

  • Florida Legal Services – Free legal support

  • Alpha Women’s Center, Foundation to Freedom, and Changing Homelessness – Advocacy and family resources

  • Flagler County Senior Services and Seniors vs. Crime – Assistance for older adults

  • Flagler County Community Paramedics, Flagler County Emergency Management, and Florida Department of Health in Flagler – Health and safety resources

  • Flagler Schools TRAIL Program and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation – Education and job readiness programs

  • Volusia-Flagler Coalition for the Homeless, Cedar Bridge Foundation, and more community partners

“This is what Health and Human Services is all about,” Hegedus said. “It’s the people and organizations that come together to help one another in Flagler County.”
